Why would you do that? If all you need is 3 stereo inputs (for your 3 synths) and 1 stereo out for (for Maschine SW) your speakers then just use the KA-6 and forget about Mk3's interface. On Windows it's like ShelLuser said afaik. Unless you have Mac, then you can merge both the KA-6 and the MK3's interface by creating an aggregate device but that would be just overcomplicating for no reason IMO. You never mentioned an MK3, you just said "Maschine" thats why I said all that after "unless you're talking about connecting the output of an Mk3 to one of the inputs of a KA-6 for some reason." - If you do that then you will waste a Stereo Input, not to mention you can only select one interface in Maschine SW. Do note that one of the KA-6 stereo Input's is SPDIF, that means it's digital and not analog like the other "normal" 1/4" or XLR inputs, I never used SPDIF and dont know much about it but I assume you would need a converter if you want to connect your TB3 to it since it has regular analog outputs.

Think of it like this, a KA-2 has 2 inputs, if Maschine Software itself used those only 2-inputs to somehow output it's Master-Out (?) that would mean you wouldn't be able to connect anything to it to record.īasically you do have 3 stereo inputs, so technically you can use 3 stereo devices connected to it, but. When you select an Audio Interface on a music Software it will use one stereo Output for the Software's Master Out, it doesn't count as an Input inputs are for external devices physically connected via Audio cables to the interface.
